Marla Cameron is a seasoned school psychologist with 30+ years experience in both public education and private practice settings. She earned her American Board of School Neuropsychology credential in 2015 and holds dual credentials as an educator and clinician.
Marla’s diverse background includes roles as a Behaviour Teacher, Post-secondary Learning Disability Specialist, and Senior Manager in Special Education and Student Well-Being. She brings a deep understanding of the challenges individuals may face in school and work environments and is dedicated to partnering with clients to identify effective strategies for success. Marla has advanced training in the assessment and clinical presentation of neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism (in both adults and youth), ADHD, and learning disabilities.
She is particularly skilled in supporting individuals with late diagnoses and those experiencing co-occurring mental health concerns involving trauma, anxiety and depression. Her practice is grounded in a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming approach that values each client’s strengths, perspectives, and lived experiences.
Marla offers accessible, evidence-based virtual and hybrid assessments to clients in Nova Scotia and Ontario.
