Pre-screening includes behavioural checklists, standardized assessment measures and consultation/collaboration between families, school and outside agencies to ensure the most effective assessment process.

After a thorough in-person intake with one of our psychologists, we are usually able to recognize whether your child, teen or young adult is presenting with symptoms consistent enough with ASD to warrant a comprehensive and ASD-specific assessment. In this case, we would refer you on to another local practitioner with an expertise in ASD diagnosis.
