Our team is committed to honouring the treaties of Peace and Friendship signed in 1725, and learning from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action, to ensure that our services reflect the values and actions necessary for achieving equity for all, honouring truth, and help facilitate pathways to engage in peace and reconciliation.

Spirit Psychological also recognizes the profound legacy and contributions of African Nova Scotians for over 400 years alongside Mi’kmaw culture, leading with creativity, endurance, spirituality, and resistance to systemic racism. We deeply respect the impact of African Nova Scotians on the history and future of Nova Scotia. We are committed to the work of anti-oppression, and fostering a culture of belonging.
