Accepting New Clients

Jess fosters a therapeutic environment rooted in safety, authenticity, and deep empathy. Drawing from the Gottman Method, Jess supports couples with evidence-based exercises to build stronger emotional connections, navigate conflict effectively, and deepen mutual understanding. Her therapeutic approach also draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, and Polyvagal-informed work. These modalities support couples in regulating their nervous systems, deepening emotional safety, and aligning their actions with shared values. She integrates these tools with mindfulness and trauma-informed care to foster meaningful and lasting change.

Jess works with couples at all stages of their journey; from those just beginning to build a solid foundation, to long-term partners seeking to renew intimacy and connection. Jess also supports individuals healing from relational transitions, helping them process grief, rediscover self-worth, and move forward with clarity and resilience.

Her practice is inclusive of LGBTQIA+ communities, BIPOC clients, and those navigating neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences. She believes that healing happens in relationship with oneself, with others, and within the therapeutic alliance. She is honoured to walk alongside her clients on their journey toward greater connection and well-being.

Outside of the therapy room, Jess finds joy in time spent with friends and family. She loves being near the water, especially at the lake, and is an avid dragon boat paddler, training regularly with her local team. These experiences fuel her appreciation for teamwork and resilience; values she brings into her clinical work. Whether sharing laughter with loved ones or paddling with others, she believes in the healing power of connection, movement, and community.
