"All kids do well when they can." - Dr. Ross Greene

Heather is a Registered Psychologist with extensive experience supporting children, youth, young adults, families, and school personnel. Heather is a military wife, and proud mother to their “neuro-spectacular” kiddo. Heather worked in Nova Scotia schools for almost 10 years before coming on full time with Spirit Psychological in 2021.

Through a neurodiversity affirming lens, Heather provides assessments for learning disorders, ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities.

Known for her exceptional warmth and humour, Heather is dedicated to working collaboratively, compassionately, and practically to support children and their families with a variety of learning, behavioural, and emotional regulation challenges.

Heather is passionate about helping children, and their families, understand their uniquely wired brains and supporting the development of positive neurodivergent identities. Heather believes that we are our best selves when we understand our own neurodivergence through an authentic, affirming perspective.
