Accepting New Clients

Daphne specializes in speech, language, and literacy services for preschool and school-aged children. She offers in-person assessment and intervention specific to each child's unique strengths and differences. She is an NLA (Natural Language Acquisition) trained clinician who is skilled and educated in gestalt language processing (GLP) and AAC + GLP. She has specialized SensorySLP training, offering an enhanced skillset in supporting children with sensory processing challenges as it relates to speech-language therapy. Daphne's therapy sessions are play-based and client-centred.

  • Daphne also works as an SLP with the Halifax Regional Center for Education. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her three grown children, whether it's sharing a meal, catching up on life, or simply enjoying each other's company. Daphne also enjoys staying active, often going for runs or long walks with her two dogs, who are always eager for outdoor adventures. For moments of relaxation, she can be found with a good book, soaking in quiet time and indulging in her joy of reading.
